My lovely Mother....
is one of my closest friends, we always laugh and have a good time together. My son was in the Marine Corps on a ship in the middle of the ocean somewhere. So we made him a nice care package filled with gifts and Christmas goodies including a string of battery powered Christmas lights and jingle bells. This is the 5th try at recording a message on a Christmas Card. You would think it would be easy..... not once we got the giggles!

My Dad is my hero
and my friend. He's probably the most thoughtful man I've ever known. He's an entrepreneur, an inventor, a pioneer, a builder, and an excellent artist. Always a creative 'right-brain' out-of-the-box type thinker, he goes his own direction and does things his own sometimes unconventional way. Through Dad's stories I know his father was the same way. I'd call it a pioneering spirit.

My wise Step-mother is and has always been a blessing to our family. Ever faithful and loving to both my father and us girls. Not to mention brave... she married a man with 3 not quite grown daughters! but waded the quagmire of possible conflicts quite successfully!
She's looking a little embarrassed by the string of money friends hung around her neck at her birthday party!
